Supacustom Bicycle #1 – Part 1

reneebicycle 080

The lastest project underway at supacustom is a custom bicycle for my girlfriend Renee, this isn’t the first bicycle frame that I have built but it will be the first to carry the “supacustom” brand. It seems lots of readers are curious to know more about what goes into building a bicycle frame, so I’ll try and step through some of the details here on the blog. First step is …continue…

Supacustom Frame Jig

supacustom_bicycle_frame 074

People who know me well are aware that I have a soft spot for bicycles as well as motorcycles, up until this point supacustom has been 100% moto but recently that has changed a little. Almost 6 years ago I built a bicycle frame, and to be honset that is where the addiction to customising bikes really began, I got a huge kick out of riding around on something that I had …continue…

Project Ossa – Part 7

ossa_MAR_250_1972 034

Its been a while since I have posted an update on the Ossa project, thats because I haven’t had much of a chance to work on it for the past few months. There has been quite a bit going on at supacustom headquarters recently and as a result the little Ossa project has been a bit neglected. The past few days I have been working to rectify this situation. I added some …continue…

The Build Film

thebuildfilm

It seems everyone in the custom bike world is coming out with a short film, some are good and some suck – this is one of the good ones, not just good, its brilliant! It follows the stories of 3 builders from Portland, Oregon (which is an awesome city that I was lucky enough to visit earlier this year…). The film is a great look at some interesting guys doing …continue…

Bott XR-1 On Track

BOTTPOWER Valencia 14 de febrero de 2013

In my opinion all custom bikes should be built to be ridden, “show only” bikes really don’t count as far as I am concerned. I have posted images of the Bott XR-1 before and it sure did look like a custom that was made to perform, the latest images from Bottpower confirm that theory. Not only have they released a video of the bike being thrown around track there is also a series …continue…

Wolf Creative Customs

motorized-bicycle-9

Wolf Creative Customs specialise in building some pretty amazing motorised bicycles, I featured a race machine from these guys last year, it was a hugely popular post, I guess I am not the only one who thinks these bikes are cool. Check out the latest build from Wolf, less of a race bike and more of a cruiser, very cool! Images via the always excellent Silodrome, check out the Wolf Creative Customs Facebook page for more …continue…

Hammar 449

The Hammar 449 is a new creation from Hammaerhead Industries, what a bike! Details are still a bit scarce, I am sure we will see a full release from Hammaerhead Industries soon but for now these couple of pictures tell a great story – custom frame, Honda CRF450X motor, motard wheels, scrambler styling, and lots of brushed aluminium. I can only imagine how much fun this thing would be blasting …continue…
