In my opinion all custom bikes should be built to be ridden, “show only” bikes really don’t count as far as I am concerned. The team at Bottpower have finished the incredible XR-1 Buell project that they have been working on for a while now. I posted some pictures of this build back in 2011 along with some concept sketches of what the bike might have looked like when it was finished. How cool is this bike from TPJ Customs. Its a Buell powered supermoto, pretty much everything except the motor has been custom fabricated by the guys at TPJ and the end result is seriously impressive. This would have to be the most compact chassis I have ever seen wrapped around a Buell motor. Magpul are a company that produce accessories for weapons, seems the Magpul guys also have an interest in Motorcycles. The Ronin was created from a Buell 1125R, as far as I can tell Magpul only ever built one of these bikes. Very cool concept, I hope Magpul continue to put their design and engineering expertise into Motorcycle projects, the Ronin clearly shows that they have a good eye for it – that said the Ronin …continue…
This is a great video showing the build and test of an engine for the new Eric Buell Racing 1190RS. I admire Eric Buell and I think that the split from Harley will allow him to create some pretty special bikes.

There are 2 very cool bikes over on the Krook Street Racing blog, one is real and the other a photoshop special. The real bike is a sweet looking street tracker aptly named the sidetracker. The ‘virtual’ bike is a buell powered cafe racer. Both very cool looking machines, can’t wait to see the next creation from the Krook Street guys.
