I don’t often blog about bikes that have been recently featured on BikeExif, because to be honest pretty much everyone will have already read about them over there. Occasionally though a bike comes along that is such a stand out I just can’t help but to post it. This Guzzi V50 from Butch builders RNO Cycles falls firmly into this category, wow what a machine. The bike is an unusual mix of classic, modern, street fighter and cafe racer and really thats a combination that just shouldn’t work but in this case its pretty spectacular. Continue reading article
The Fesitval of Italian Motorcycles (FOIM) was held in Melbourne today, the sun was out and it was a perfect day for a ride. I’ll let the pictures do the talking…
I spotted this tidy V11 custom over on Cafe Racer Culture in amongst some of their coverage of the Passion Motorcycle Exhibition held this past weekend in Padua, Italy. There were loads of nice bikes featured but this V11 really stood out to me as something pretty special. The one piece tank/tail section complete with endurance racing twin fillers is awesome. Anyone know any more about this bike? who built it?
There were a couple of really nice guzzi’s racing at the Island this year, this bike in particular caught my eye. The owner had only recently imported the bike from Spanish Guzzi specialists Guzzi Moto Box, check out their site as this is not the only bike those guys have built.
I took this shot on the Saturday just before the bike unfortunately dropped a valve, I am sure this is not the last we will see of this bike. The owner mentioned a few plans to squeze some more HP out of the big twin and I certainly look forward to seeing more from this bike next year.
The quality of the bike was impeccable, every detail was neatly executed.
This is one seriously nice Moto Guzzi, details seem a bit scarce so far but from what I can tell it is a Griso based custom put together by Guzzi specialists Officine Rossopuro. I think there might be more to come from Ipothesys judging by their website, it seems like more than just a one off custom is in the works. I bet it sounds mean with those pipes…

This is one very very very awesome Moto Guzzi custom. I love the minimal theme of the bike and that tank fitted so low and neat around the cylinders, great lines. The tail section is unique and I’m not sure if I’m totally sold in it but it works with the rest of the bike.
All exhaust systems should be built this way….
What a nice Moto Guzzi custom, very tastefully done indeed. Im not usually a fan of this style of bike – a bit to close to the original but the guys at Firestarter Garage have come up with a nice style on this one.
Nothing like a supercharger hanging out of the tank to make an already cool MotoGuzzi custom even cooler! Anyone know anymore about this bike? got any pics of the finished product?
